DH_BUDAPEST_2025 YOUNG RESEARCHERS – CALL FOR PAPERS
AI IN EDUCATION, RESEACH AND DIGITAL CULTURAL STUDIES
BUDAPEST, NOVEMBER 19-21, 2025
EÖTVÖS LORÁND UNIVERSITY, FACULTY OF HUMANITIES (ELTE BTK)
Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we teach, research, and engage with cultural heritage. From AI-powered education tools and research assistants to digital archives and computational approaches in cultural studies, the impact of machine learning and language models in the humanities is undeniable. As AI systems become more sophisticated, scholars must critically examine their applications, ethical implications, and potential for reshaping knowledge production.
This conference invites PhD students, MA students, and students in the undivided teacher training program (fourth year or above) to explore the intersection of AI and the humanities. Topics include AI-enhanced education, AI-driven research methodologies, digital heritage preservation, and computational cultural studies. Through interdisciplinary discussions, we aim to assess both the opportunities and challenges AI presents for academia and cultural scholarship.
We welcome contributions that address these themes through theoretical discussions, practical applications, or case studies. Join us as we navigate the evolving landscape of AI in the humanities and chart its future possibilities.
